Greetings reader! It is I Sir William Morndragorn. I have decided to quill down an accounting of my journeys. It is my wish that these writings serve as the chronicle of my Great Deeds and Grand Adventures. As I have failed to find a scribe of sufficient skill, I shall be taking it upon myself. I explained to them that the honor of chronicling the Deeds of a Great Knight, a True Knight of the Realm, should be payment enough! Sadly, all lacked the courage to follow me. Poor cowards.
I have arrived at a new village today! And as is my custom I shall rest for the remainder of the day at the first inn I find with reasonable accommodations, and an obvious respect for those of my profession who seek not wealth but to serve his fellow man with honor and valor.
I bid thee good eve.
By the by...the mutton was particularly delicious here at the Inn of the Donkey's ??? Unfortunately, the last word was unintelligible. Someone should alert the good Innkeep. I'm sure he'd want word of this fine establishment to spread -- I shall do so on the morrow.
